Digartref Cyf is a registered charity, established in 1998 to assist in alleviating homelessness
and the related effects on individuals, families and our community.
Over the last 27 years we have grown and expanded the range of services we deliver, ensuing each intervention aims to prevent and reduce incidences of homelessness, transform lives and empower people to achieve independence across Anglesey and Gwynedd.
Joining our board will give you an amazing opportunity to help some of the most vulnerable in our society thrive and live their lives with dignity. You would be joining a fantastic team of people who truly care and want to make a difference, putting those requiring our support at the heart of all we do, however complicated their needs are.
We are looking for a new Treasurer to strengthen and diversify the skills and experience of our Board. So, if you have background in accountancy, financial auditing, experience of financial management with an eye for detail, looking for a new challenge, and are committed to helping vulnerable people move on in their lives, we’d like to hear from you.
The role of Treasurer requires some liaison with other trustees, in particular the Chair and Vice Chair, and the CEO, as well as attendance at Board meetings, Finance Sub Group Meetings and an annual Business Planning Away Day.
Board meetings are held around 4 times a year, 5.00pm till 7.00pm.
Finance sub-group meetings are held as and when required circa 2 times a year
AGM and Business Planning Away Day is held annually and requires a full day’s input
Treasurer is required to provide a Treasurers Report at and for the 4 x Board meetings and provide trustees and the CEO with financial advice and guidance to assist them in making informed decisions.

Digartref Cyf is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Support Worker.
If you are passionate about providing high quality supported housing services for young people aged 16 to 24, who have experienced or are at risk of homelessness, and you want to help them make lasting positive changes in their lives and move onto longer term homes of their own, then we would like to hear from you.
The role of Senior Support Worker requires you to provide day to day support, supervision, and direction to a team of supported housing staff that support young people in 24 hour staffed hostels and dispersed accommodation. In addition, you would be required to deliver an effective housing management service, draw up staff rotas to ensure 24-hour staff cover and be available to cover on-call on a rota basis outside of your contracted working week, for which and additional payment is made.
Ideally applicants would be expected to:

Have a working knowledge and understanding of relevant health and safety issues including risk assessments.

Hwb Hillgrove Service Provision Aims & Objectives
This aims to be an exemplar service provision, providing temporary stable, safe accommodation, having a supportive environment, one that is enabling, assisting vulnerable young people who have experienced or are at risk of homelessness to develop the skills necessary to move on to their long-term home, independence and fulfilled lives.
These aims will be achieved through the provision of high-quality accommodation, with 18-ensuited rooms, a 24-hour staff covered service, delivering person centred support and opportunities to access training, learning and education on and off site.

Tenancy Support Worker – Hwb Hillgrove, Bangor, Gwynedd
Salary scale £23,530.52 - £24,319.36 (point 20 to 21) (please note a pay rise is pending)

(working to a rota to ensure 24-hour staff cover including waking nights, weekends, bank holidays etc)
We are looking to recruit 4 Tenancy Support Workers who are experienced in providing tenancy related support to those who have experienced homelessness or are at risk of homelessness, impacted by adverse childhood experiences, often with complex support needs.
You will be a resilient support worker, a team player, able to deliver a high-quality service that helps young people recognise their own strengths, develop independent living skills, and move away from homelessness for good.
You will need to adopt a flexible approach to working, covering various shifts to ensure 24-hour staff cover. Some shifts will require you to lone work.
The post holder will be required to have:

Supported Housing Relief Workers

Digartref Cyf is looking to recruit Relief Workers who are able to work as part of a dynamic team in our 24-hour cover supported housing projects on Anglesey. We are committed to assisting young people acquire the skills necessary for independent living and supporting them to secure more permanent housing within the community. Many of the young people we have worked with now live in their own homes, are in full time education and enjoying new careers.
To work on an ‘as and when required basis’, covering staff holidays, sickness and training.
The hours worked are flexible but the post holder must be accessible and available at short notice.
Shift patterns are variable and include weekends, evenings, waking nights and weekdays.
Please note that those not able to work waking night shifts need not apply
Although experience of working in a similar field or with young people would be advantageous, it is more important that you have the right attitude to undertake the role and an ability and willingness to learn the skills required.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about maintaining high standards of cleaning and has excellent organisational skills. Day Centre Senior Support Worker
Salary Pt 26 to 27 - £29,456.44 - £30,322.24

We are currently recruiting for a Day Centre Senior Support Worker to provide maternity cover for a fixed term period of 6 months.
We are looking for someone who has the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience to:
· To ensure the provision of a 365 day per year direct access Day Centre service, for those at risk of or experiencing homelessness. To include access to food prepared on the premises, laundry, bathing facilities, housing and welfare benefit advice and support, onward referral to specialist external organisations.
· Carrying a case load, provide person centred support to service users, based on a comprehensive needs assessment and support plan, that aims to identify and address an individual’s housing related support needs.
· To provide day to day support and supervision to Day Centre Support Workers and volunteers across all aspects of their work, being responsible for inducting new staff and volunteers into their roles, ensuring the team is familiar with and work within the company’s policies and procedures as well as the overall aims of the project. Assisting the Homeless Prevention Projects Manager in staff recruitment and selection.
· To ensure cover at the service, by supporting the Homeless Prevention Projects Manager to formulate related project rotas.
· To have a flexible approach to working hours, covering a seven day a week rota including weekends. The post holder will be required to cover an On-call rota which operates across the organisation (circa every 4 weeks) for which and additional payment is made.
